Bishop tells Boris Johnson to quit for ‘obviously’ lying over Partygate

  1. He should.

Also, I doubt many brits give a fuck about the opinion of some unelected man whose job is to read from a boring book older than the UK itself.

  2. Last time I looked it had fizzled out in 2020 I think, but happily it seems Peter Oborne’s [Boris Johnson Lies](https://boris-johnson-lies.com/) site – a simple tracker for the many many lies told by Johnson – has been brought up to date, at least to April 2022.

I guess the flurry of lies in the aftermath of the Gray report would be pretty hard to keep up with.

  3. It was a ordinary working day.

    It wasn’t a party.

    You are not listening.

Look into my eyes, look into my eyes, it wasn’t a party.

When you wake up you wouldn’t remember anything about partygate.

    Capeesh .

  4. Even if Johnson does not care about this, he must know the elderly, church-going types will hear this and sit up and reconsider any support for him. His actions have now offended the monarchy and the church, two institutions some of his voters love more than they support the Tories. He will need some good PR to come back from that.
