On Wednesday, the lowest temperatures will be between 7°C
and 12°C, around 8°C in Sofia.
It will be windy across most parts of the country during the
day. In Northern Bulgaria and the western part of the Upper Thracian Plain,
there will be a moderate to strong west-northwesterly wind. Cloud cover will be
variable. In the afternoon, cumulus and cumulonimbus clouds will develop over
the southern regions, bringing short but locally intense showers and thunderstorms.
Hail is also possible. Maximum temperatures will range between 17°C and 22°C, around
16°C in the capital city.
Along the Black Sea coast, it will be warm and cloudy.
Morning showers are possible. Daytime highs will be between 18°C and 20°C. The
seawater temperature is 15–16°C. Sea state 2 on the Beaufort scale.
In the mountains, cloud cover will be variable. In the
afternoon over the Rila–Rhodope region, Strandzha and Sakar, cumulonimbus
clouds will form, bringing short showers and thunderstorms in many areas. It
will snow above 1,800 meters. Strong to gale-force northwesterly winds will
blow, and daytime temperatures will drop. Maximum temperatures at an altitude of
1,200 meters will be around 10°C, at 2,000 meters around 2°C.
On Thursday, the wind will weaken and shift to the
northeast. Cloudiness will remain considerable, with short showers expected in
places, mainly in Southern Bulgaria.
