Why was the Elizabeth line not driverless? We have the technology and chance to actual show people what a future without these bs strikes could look like. Their are already driverless train without incident in China going around speeds many multiples of ours. It’s so frustrating.
What about all the British technology companies that were never started because we didn’t move the Elizabeth line to driverless. Many thousands of high-skilled jobs that could’ve had first-mover advantages and implemented similar technology across Europe. Instead, TfL decides to hire 120 drivers that operate solely on this line. Fml. Sooner or later Mr Khan is gonna have to call their bullshit and make an aggressive case against them.
