This document is a revised edition of the previous Directive On the Development of Bilateral Relations between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China. It builds upon the earlier provisions and sets out the next stage, focusing on concrete plans and goals to strengthen Belarus-China co-operation over the next five years.
The direction of bilateral co-operation aims to enhance political engagement, preserve historical memory, promote the values of friendship and mutual support, and contribute to the implementation of China’s global initiatives for Belarus’ benefit.
Key economic co-operation priorities with China include deepening industrial and technological partnerships, as well as expanding trade, investment and innovation sectors.
Furthermore, the document contains around thirty provisions calling for specific measures in areas such as agriculture, energy, transport and logistics, healthcare, information and communication technologies, woodworking, petrochemical and light industries, tourism, education, science and culture, the development of the flagship project — the Great Stone Industrial Park — and the stimulation of interregional co-operation.
