Committed vs. Delivered Weapons to Ukraine

  1. Perhaps Germany are using a mapping service that isn’t working correct because that chart doesn’t look impressive.

I presume Ukraine at least got the Helmets?

  2. I wonder how fast will the German government act if the invasion spreads to their boarder and it’s not completely impossible.

Some time ago Poland demanded getting the newest Leopards from Germany. At first I though it didn’t make much sense to get the latest tanks when Poland is sending old tech to Ukraine. I’m rethinking this when I see this graph. Maybe asking for more than you deserve is justified in this case. Just to pressure Germany some more to do the right thing.

  3. Maybe it should be noted that not every country has broadcast their contribution. Depending on local laws and the advice of the security services, some only contributed in secret. Italy for example hasn’t publicised much about what they’re doing and yet there pictures of Italian equipment popping up in Ukraine. Same with France right up to the artillery announcements.

  4. Just a heads up regarding the Kiel Tracker, is that as donations have stopped to be registered openly, open-source tracking like this is going to get less and less clear and representative.

For many countries, we don’t know what is being commited and delivered anymore (See for example Denmark and France)
