After 10 acts made it through Tuesday’s first semi, 15 more are in action as this year’s Eurovision Song Contest continues with the second semi final on Thursday night. And among them are some of the big tips to win and a singer many fans think could be the ‘dark horse’ of 2026.

Austria are on hosting duties this year, following JJ’s win for them in Vienna with Wasted Love 12 months ago. After a turquoise carpet ceremony got things going over in Vienna at the weekend, things fully got going in the Weiner Stadthalle on Tuesday, with the first semi final. With 10 spots up for grabs to join Austria, UK, Germany, Italy and France in the Eurovision 2026 final, competition was fierce, with two countries many people believe will end up battling for the trophy – Finland and Greece – both in action.

They both made it through along with eight others, as the likes of Estonia, Portugal and San Marino, whose entry this year featured British music icon Boy George, were eliminated and will play no further part in the contest. Some big hitters will take to the stage on Thursday, including Delta Goodrem for Australia, as well as Denmark, Cyprus, Bulgaria and Romania – the country an increasing amount of fans could spring a real surprise in the final result.

The second semi final will begin at 9pm Austrian time, with it airing live in the UK on BBC, starting at 8pm GMT. Here is the running order for the show:
