Nadine Dorries Suggests Boris Johnson Wasn’t Booed That Much And It’s Not Helping | The response from The Times is 🔥🔥🔥🔥.

  1. Boris Johnson was roundly booed on his way in and out of St Paul’s yesterday, as the Times reported: [Queen’s thanksgiving service: Boos and jeers for Boris Johnson outside St Paul’s](https://archive.ph/Tiyb7).

Dorries, the minister responsible for regulation of misinformation, [commented on their piece](https://nitter.net/NadineDorries/status/1532778456072732672):

    > There were far, far more cheers, but that doesn’t make a good headline does it.

The minister for disinformation [was quickly corrected](https://nitter.net/chrisshipitv/status/1532860646328520704#m) by ITV’s Royal Editor Chris Ship:

    > The facts are, and I was there, the boos were very loud indeed. No escaping that. Reporters are there to report. Not make stuff up.

The Times itself responded with a twitter poll: [Was Boris Johnson greeted with booing or cheering?](https://twitter.com/thetimes/status/1532792418063491073) which predictably stands at 97% boos for Johnson.

Author [James Felton](https://twitter.com/JimMFelton) was moved [to enquire of Dorries](https://nitter.net/JimMFelton/status/1532786248535900160#m)

    > Genuine question; are you aware of the fact that other people can hear sounds

  2. Anyone else notice how similar the UK and US politics have become? Nadine is a carbon copy of Kellyanne Conway and her ‘alternative facts’

  3. It didn’t happen.

It did happen but you didn’t hear booing.

There was booing, but it wasn’t at the PM.

    The PM was booed.

    Priti Patel outlaws booing politicians.

Police are looking into the matter.

    Arrests have been made.

The booing terrorists have been deported to Rwanda.

  4. Conservatives 2021: “*There were no booze*”
Conservatives 2022: “*There were no boos*”

  5. In her defence she has to come out with crap like this because she knows that as soon as BJ is gone, she’s out of a job as nobody else in their right mind would even contemplate giving her a ministerial position.

  6. >Nadine Dorries Suggests Boris Johnson Wasn’t Booed That Much And It’s Not Helping

We are sorry if the booing upset Mad Nadds, but she really needs to see a shrink if she is that delusional.

  7. A quick reminder that the Conservatives, with Labour support, are trying to put legislation in to give the Secretary of State unprecedented control to close down any speech online for “disinformation” purposes.

That SoS is currently Nadine Dorries.

  8. Johnson is our PM but that does not mean we are obliged to support him through thick and thin until the next election (or at all, for those of us who did not vote for him). Opinions are allowed to change over five years and the evidence from Partygate has changed people’s opinions for the worse. If Dorries does not agree with that then politics is not for her.

  9. >…The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command. His heart sank as he thought of the enormous power arrayed against him…

  10. It’s all a big misunderstanding. The British public love Boris and were out there to support him, they just misheard the news stories and thought that it was partying and *boos* that he liked.

  11. You have to question Nadine’s intelligence and how any INEPT person like Nadine was elected to represent her consitituency????

  12. Government Ministers should be subject to regular Drug tests. I assume such substances are the reason for Ms Dorres’ disconnect with the real world.

  13. Universally booed on the way in, the cheers that came soon after were not for the next guest arriving after him.

  14. Nadine must be more worried than him right now. Boris and Sunak will get golden parachutes from Tory donors when they step down, but what’s left for her if she gets sacked from the cabinet?
