The seventh edition of the InDireita Street Fest will take place on Sunday, May 24, transforming the usually busy Rua Direita in Portimão into a car-free open-air festival space from 10am until 10pm.
Organisers promise a packed programme featuring live concerts, skate demonstrations, workshops, street performances, local crafts and food stalls, alongside activities aimed at all age groups.

The event is organised by local association Palco das Ondas Invisíveis Studio (P.O.I.S.) and has become known for bringing new life to one of Portimão’s most historic streets.
This year’s music line-up includes Kumpania Algazarra, Flangelus – winners of this year’s local Battle of the Bands competition – and Zé Gordo e Los Cantigas.

Alongside the concerts, visitors can expect expanded children’s areas, community art projects, open shops, skate classes and acrobatic performances throughout the day.
Entry is free, with organisers once again aiming to turn Rua Direita into what they describe as a lively meeting point for urban culture, creativity and community spirit.

Since first launching in 2024, the festival has grown into a beloved local event known for bringing life to the city centre.
