in malta for tourists something called bait and switch is used. google it. its a scam basically

This is like complaining about traffic when you’re stuck in it alone in your car.
Tourist here. Upon stepping foot on Comino I was so overwhelmed I did an about face and asked the ferryman to take me back to Gozo. He calmed me down and told me to just walk past Blue Lagoon. He gave me many assurances about how quiet and calm it would be one I went past Blue Lagoon. I spent the day on some rocks near the caves, then when it was time to head back I had two of those ridiculous pineapple drinks before boarding the ferry.
1. It’s sad that Blue Lagoon is overrun with tourists but I imagine it would be really fun with a good group of friends.
2. Maltese men have been wonderful. Like genuinely kind and protective and helpful and encouraging. You should be proud of yourselves.

Tbh i went to comino with my girlfriend about a week ago and we didn’t even go near the water we just went up into the centre and found a quiet place to sunbathe…. Highly recommended
How can you demand action when you give your vote for free and cheer?
As a tourist who has spent months on Malta over the course of 3 trips, Comino actually felt like a breath of fresh air once I got past Blue Lagoon. Barely saw any people and got to enjoy some rough nature. I was there back in may this year though on an OK day weatherwise.
Omg graffiti are so negative & stuck in a negative mindset.. dont they know the economy is growing more than ever? Aren’t you all feeling it?
This is the business & politicians first & citizens last attitude that some ppl in here and many in malta will defend… till their party tells them otherwise that is…
Keep it up Malta, pretty soon there will be no tourism. Leaving the airport is a disaster, building work everywhere and idiots murdering birds out of the sky.
