Nick Calathes is set to return to Greece after six years, signing a two-year contract with PAOK Thessaloniki. The 37-year-old guard joins as part of a significant team overhaul that includes new head coach Andrea Trinchieri.

BasketNews sources confirm that Nick Calathes and PAOK are finalising a two-year agreement starting from this summer.

This would mark Calathes’ return to Greece for the first time after six years when he left Panathinaikos to sign for Barcelona.

Greek veteran started this season with Monaco, but after failing to find a spot in rotation of Vassilis Spanoulis, continued the 2025-26 campaign with Partizan Mozzart Bet Belgrade.

In 31 games this season in the EuroLeague, 37-year old guard has averaged 4.3 points, 4.2 assists and 2 5 rebounds on 19 minutes per game.
