I just made a simple koncovka. I am not Slovak, but I visited there recently to meet up with my SO, and heard it being played somewhere. I liked the sound so I built one

  1. It looks cool 🙂 So nice to see you taking interest in our culture 🙂

Since the are both basically overtone flutes, you can now take it a step further and build a [fujara](https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fujara)

[Here](http://davinci.fmph.uniba.sk/~kundracik1/fujara.htm) you can find all the info you need to build a nice wooden one, including .xls with info on bore size and all, and even simplified pvc version and 3D printed mouthpiece. Unfortunately all is in Slovak. But translators are good enough these days for the page to be usable for you 🙂

  2. “koncovka” means “ending”
Like the end of a cable….

What you showing is some type of Flute.
