Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor is downsizing his lifestyle.
According to royal biographer Andrew Lownie, the former Duke of York cut his staff down after moving to Marsh Farm in Norfolk.
“Andrew now had to rely on just a housekeeper, a cook and general aide, alongside a team of police protection officers,” the author claimed in his book, Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York via GB News.

“His only other company were two corgis that had once belonged to the late Queen Elizabeth II and several Norfolk terriers,” Lownie said.
The update comes after Andrew was reportedly accosted by a masked man while walking his pets near his home.
“Alex Jenkinson, aged 39 and of Stowmarket, Suffolk, has since been charged with two counts of using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behavior to harass someone or cause alarm or distress and failing to provide a specimen of blood in custody,” an official told Fox News Digital.

“The recent scary masked man confrontation has left him shaken and worried for his safety,” journalist Helena Chard told Fox News Digital.
“There are rumors he wants his old security back, although he was unscathed,” she claimed.
“His private protection officer dealt with the confrontation and aftermath,” she continued. “King Charles III is understood to be funding Andrew’s ‘exile’ at Marsh Farm, including former royal protection cops. They are not armed. Allegedly some stay in a cabin in the back garden.”
Broadcaster Ian Pelham Turner alleged Andrew was with a protection officer when the incident occurred.

“Personally, every citizen in Britain should feel safe and protected, especially highly well-known figures, and so Andrew should be given more protection, otherwise more attempts could be made on his life, which would cause distress and disarray within the royal family,” the newscaster told the outlet.
