Tallinn, Estonia, May 17 (Petra) – Deputy Prime Minister and Minister
of Foreign and Expatriates Affairs Ayman Safadi met Sunday with
representatives of the Estonian private sector at the conclusion of
his visit to Estonia.
The meeting, attended by Estonian Foreign Minister Margus Tsahkna,
focused on ways to strengthen economic and investment cooperation
between the two countries and expand partnerships between the
Jordanian and Estonian private sectors in technology, digital
transformation, innovation, energy and tourism.
Safadi briefed participants on Jordan’s investment environment,
highlighting the promising opportunities and incentives available to
investors. He reaffirmed Jordan’s commitment to deepening economic
cooperation with Estonia and building on the relations between the
two countries.
He discussed the Jordanian-European Investment Conference, which the
Kingdom will host later this year, as a major platform for advancing
economic partnership between Jordan and the European Union.
Safadi encouraged Estonian business leaders and investors to
participate in the conference and explore investment opportunities in
the Kingdom.
Separately, Safadi met with EU High Representative for Foreign
Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas on the sidelines of his
participation in the Lennart Meri Conference.
Their discussions covered ways to enhance cooperation between Jordan
and the European Union, as well as regional developments and efforts
to promote security and stability.
