‘Boris Johnson thinks he’s honest’: Devon candidate declines to say if PM trustworthy

  1. Boris is honest, doesn’t break rules not even his own rules, doesn’t lie, he was ambushed by the cake on his birthday, doesn’t lie to the Parliament and he likes going to Peppard pig World.

  2. It’s fair to deduct that she doesn’t believe he is honest yet is prepared to support an inveterate liar in Downing St by quoting the ‘Move on’ dogma?

    Only Locusts move on.

  3. Oh great, a candidate who says boris has lost all grasp of reality…that’s what I assume “thinks” means in this sentence.

  4. > Why, thou sayest well. I do now remember a saying, ‘The fool doth think he is wise, but the wise man knows himself to be a fool.’

William Shakespeare, *As You Like It* (Act 5 Scene 1)

  5. Devon candidate would 100% turn the other way if Boris started imprisoning people for disagreeing with his political beliefs.

  6. Who gives a flying fuck what Johnson’s personal take on reality is? Irrespective of his opinion, Johnson has been proven time and time again to be disonist to the point of delusion.

  7. Its alright, we already know he’s dodgy as fuck.

What question she should be wrestling with is ‘why the hell do I want to be a Tory MP under him?’

  8. This is why Boris’ position is indefensible. He’s either lying or he’s grossly incompetent. He set lockdown rules, read them out every week to the nation, and still couldn’t tell when he was breaking them? It’s not much of a defence and I’m not sure it’s better than if he said he broke the rules because he’s better than us

  9. We have more than enough evidence to the contrary though. It’s no different to any incompetent employee around the country: they might think they are good at their job but their co-workers will all know the truth. As per usual, Johnson is happy to ignore reality because it makes him look and feel better about himself.

  10. I think Johnson knows that he’s a corrupt lying snake and relishes the fact. Probably thinks it makes him cleverer than everyone else.

  11. “I couldn’t possibly say whether the PM is trustworthy. Could you excuse me please? I’ve recently shaken hands with the PM and need to count my fingers”

  12. Doesn’t he have multiple bastard children? Or does he quickly get married to his pregnant mistresses?

  13. She says “There’s been a report” as if that is the end of the matter…

The report had findings and the findings have not been satisfactorily addressed. That’s why we can’t move on.

Rules created clear enough that the enitre country shut down > boris says in parliament that he was not aware of rule breaking > evidence in report shows he attended rule breaking events > evidence in report shows messages that other senior officials were aware the events were rule breaking > Boris does nothing because he’s a slippery, spineless, incompetent sack of an excuse for a human being.

  14. He thinks he’s honest, but I think the results speak for themselves. He is an evil, vile man who rode on his daddy’s coattails for far too long, and is eroding this country and all it is claimed to stand for every day he remains in government.
