I think what I find the most confusing is why anyone would *choose* to live in Ohio…
Still lots of Latvians in the Midwest. Put down roots post WWII and don’t really want to uproot again. Plus they are only three hours from the biggest Latvian community center in the US, [Garezers.](https://garezers.org/)
