You might not have anything to hide, but everything you do is being sold off to data analysts or stored by the government to be used in evidence against you.
I am a data protection lawyer – personally I would be extremely concerned about any data reforms this government proposes. Looks like they are trying to get their claws into the ICO to limit the ICO’s ability to issue opinions and guidance.
It’s not about hiding anything.
Hiding is being secretive, this is privacy…
I’m not being secretive in my bathroom, I want privacy.
Secondly, any data collected can be used to manipulate you – these companies now know more about you than a Theropist would – how to get you to purchase, vote, eat … it’s really sickly impressive 🙂
So after companies spending fortunes to meet GDPR requirements the government just want to undermine this and rip it up?
Absolutely shocking.
Does this therefore expose what politicians get up to…will this info be available?
This is Brexit Britain, everything is for sale.
Ah yes Tories, the age old boomer experts making laws about the internet. What could go wrong?
