I really don’t understand ordering pizza from a large chain and paying those prices. It’s never amazing and you could grab a large pizza in a shop and add your own toppings for about 5quid. Cooks in 20mins and isn’t tepid after a 40min journey on back of a bike.
10″ is 78.54″^2. 12″ is 113.10″^2. 14″ is 153.94″^2. the 12″ give you 30.56% more pizza than the 10″ but only cost 19.05% more than the 10″. The 14″ is 26.53% more pizza than the 12″ and 48.98% more pizza than the 10″ while only costing 12.50% more than the 12″ and 29.17% more than the 10″.
Dominos still do a great lunch pizza small not personal for 7 euro with up to 4 toppings – love it
I know inflation is getting out of hand and ordinary things we used to enjoy are becoming rarer and rarer but it’s really hard to sympathize with the kind of sick bastard that puts pineapple on their pizza.
Your the problem if you pay 17 quid for a small pizza. Don’t accept these cunts inflated prices simple don’t let it become the norm.
I bet the excuse is for these prices is they used to use Ukrainian pineapple and pepperoni so now there struggling.
Pizza in general is an absolute joke. I made 4 pizzas today in my pizza oven because the recipe I use is enough for 4 pizzas. It probably cost about 2 euro for 4 pizzas that were about 14 inches.
I absolutely HATE paying for pizzas.
Takeaways put up their price a ridiculous amount during covid.
My local chinese did a spice bag for 5 euro or 6 euro with extra chicken. Delivery (min 10 euro spend) was 1.90 euro.
[Now a spice bag is 8.50 and with extra chicken 9.50](https://imgur.com/a/O1lIwii) Delivery is 2.50 (12 min spend). I don’t mind this increase.
But 8.50 for a plain spice bag with hardly any chicken is madness. I just checked my orders and I ordered a spice bag with extra chicken for 6 euro in November 2019. So in 2.5 years it’s gone up 70%. I don’t order it anymore, too expensive.
