More specifically, it is our craven governments that have us by the throat. They’re hellbent on squeezing out half a percentage point of GDP growth, damn the existential crisis. And it is particularly apparent with the neoliberal chickenshits, the corrupted Boomer institutions and holdovers, their moral cowardice, and the utter fucking lack of political will to make meaningful, radical, necessary change.
Extractive industries are just that — industries. They are creations of the state and creatures of statute. By rights, they exist at our sufferance and their business activities are governed by the same. We gave them this power.
And our corrupted, spineless elected officials are the greatest impediment here.
A new dutch car with solar. can in 1 hour refill enough power for 6 miles. the car is very expensive now but they plan to have a “peoples car” in 2025 for 30k
Biggest part of all people do not drive more than 30-50 miles per day and so would never have to tank/recharge again!
When this numbers are correct in this article than this could be a solution for the future energy problems that we face here in EU. We have to import almost all fossil fuels and with cars like this there would be no need at all.
When this numbers are correct than i would be all for big subventions for this company to push it. Like -10k when people buy it or something like this.
