I understand it’s nonsensical to ask him that, but all it took was crossing a square. Is proving your point more important than donating blood?
So stupid! He is too old to became pregnant!
>“As a public body we take cognisance of changes in society around how such questions may be asked without discrimination and have a duty to promote inclusiveness – therefore all donors are now asked the same questions.”
They promote inclusiveness but I bet gay people can’t donate blood
This is what is needed to change the ridiculous times we are stuck in.
That’s fucking stupid.
Being a satire writer must be tremendously hard nowadays
Sounds as if he had something to hide.
Trans people exist. It’s possible to be male but pregnant
What a terrible burden was placed upon this man: to mark a checkbox.
The funny thing about people adopting these *stupid* head-in-the-sand dogmatic positions is that science is more on more rapidly on this subject. The ease with which people will be able to make decisions about their own gender, body etc. is only going to increase to the point where it will be a fairly trivial decision.
Anyone trying to draw a line in the sand is simply going to look ever more foolish as time goes on.
“It is nonsensical and it makes me angry because there are vulnerable people waiting for blood, including children, and in desperate need of help. But they’ve been denied my blood because of the obligation to answer a question that can’t possibly be answered.”
How can a yes/no question not be answered? He’s a man, he’s not pregnant, therefore the answer is no. The fact that he can’t possibly be pregnant doesn’t make the question unanswerable or the response ‘no’ incorrect.
What an utter twat. Talking about how he’s donating his blood, to emphasise how self righteous he feels about giving blood, whilst talking about people being denied his blood passively as if he isn’t the one denying it by choosing not to tick a box.
