Manchester City forward Erling Haaland has been included in Norway’s 26-man squad for this summer’s World Cup in North America.
The former RB Salzburg and Borussia Dortmund player has never played in a major tournament for his country, which last qualified for the World Cup in 1998.
Derby County’s Sondre Langås is also included, having impressed with the Rams who narrowly missed out on the Championship playoffs.
The centre back has scored three times in 25 appearances under John Eustace this season, having joined from Norwegian side Viking in January 2025.
Ståle Solbakken has also selected Arsenal’s Martin Ødegaard, Crystal Palace’s Jørgen Strand Larsen, Brentford’s Kristoffer Ajer, and Fulham duo Oscar Bobb and Sander Berge.
Haaland will be joined in attack by Atletico Madrid’s Alexander Sørloth and RB Leipzig’s exciting young talent Antonio Nusa.
Borussia Dortmund’s Julian Ryerson is called up in defence alongside Wolves’ David Møller Wolfe and Genoa’s Leo Østigård, while Watford goalkeeper Egil Selvik is also included.
Norway cruised through Qualification with eight wins from eight, scoring an impressive 37 times while conceding just five.
The Scandinavians are in Group I and play Iraq in Foxborough on 16 June, Senegal in New Jersey on 23 June before returning to Foxborough to play 2018 winners France on 26 June.
