  1. > “Last Saturday there were 10 masses for Franco and there are about 23,000 churches,” Echenique said in a tweet. “The probability of randomly stumbling into one is 0.05% – yet, according to sources from his own PP, Pablo Casado managed it.”

He should get a el gordo lottery ticket, just saying…

  2. Crazy how they all follow the dame patterns. Here one of Salvini’s closest wingmen wanted to name a park after Mussolini. And Giorgia Meloni’s party is literally being funded by fascists (through money laundering of course) and when questioned about it she denied having anything to do with it *despite there being video evidence thanks to an undercover journalist*.

Also one of her candidates for Rome’s mayoral government is Mussolini’s granddaughter. And yes, she’s a fascist like her grandfather of course.

Oh and if we had an election today there’s a serious chance Meloni would become prime minister. But *everything’s fine*…

  3. There is an unsettling trend of voters not caring anymore if candidates are praising dictators…it used to be a huge no-no for a politician, overshadowing any other agreement/disagreement a voter might have with their policies, but now they think more of “ah ok he is antidemocratic, but he doesn’t like immigrants/Germany/gays etc. so I will still vote for him!”
