I highly doubt his Singaporean wife-to-be was real either and the whole ‘dowry’ thing was a scam, so he was scammed twice.
People were quick to start slating him on the local Facebook group like. Standard “the judge let him off too easy” and all that. Standard from people who don’t actually read the story.
