A bridal shop manager in Colne said they were “privileged” to help create Venezuela Fury’s dream wedding dress – and the salon could feature on an upcoming Netflix show.

Venezuela, daughter of boxer Tyson Fury, chose Ava Rose Hamilton bridal boutique to help design part of her gown ahead of her marriage to Noah Price on May 16.

The salon, which previously featured on TV show Say Yes to the Dress Lancashire, worked closely with 16-year-old Venezuela, now Venezuela Price, and her mother Paris to bring her vision to life.

Niamh Worden, one of the managers at Ava Rose Hamilton, said: “We were privileged that they chose us to help find Venezuela a dress.

“Paris said they had been recommended to us and that she had seen our personalities on social media and that we were a family business.

“Who knows, they may have also seen Say Yes to the Dress too.”

The boutique designed several key elements of the gown, including a dramatic 40 to 50 metre train, custom sleeves, veil, and a more voluminous skirt.

Niamh said: “We all put our heads together to help make the dress perfect and exactly what Venezuela imagined.

“She was in love with it – everybody loved it.

“She felt and looked beautiful.

“She definitely had a vision and idea of what she wanted.

“She wanted something different to what other people might have envisioned her in.”

Netflix filmed parts of the visit which could feature in the upcoming third series of At Home with the Furys, adding to the excitement for the boutique team.

Niamh said: “It’s amazing for the team and we are so proud and excited about it.

“It’s amazing that we might appear on Netflix and we can’t wait to watch the whole series.

“They are such a lovely family.

“Paris and Venezuela are so down to earth and really nice.

“We are so happy that we were chosen out of the whole world to create Venezuela’s look.”
