Unfortunately it’s not uncommon with this organisation, it’s legal bills, it’s staff, it’s leadership and the minister’s in charge of it! Not really anything to be proud about!
So far as DWP go, it is not surprising given how many disabled claimants have actually died over the last decade.. and certainly when you have the secretary of state pushing sound bites about the department having no legal duty to safeguard vulnerable claimants.
The DWP have directly contributed to the deaths or suicides of tens of thousands of disabled people in this country. People need to face criminal charges for what has gone on over the last 5-12 years in this country, a lot of this stuff is just not acceptable and we should not just brush it under the carpet as normal politics. It has *ruined* people’s lives on a national scale.

PiP rejection rates and subsequent turnovers when it goes to tribunal is proof enough.
Can someone explain to me what the DWP staff should do here? If they followed their steps then it’s all they can do. At the end of the day the DWP staff aren’t counselors, they can only inform the emergency services about this.
Having family who have worked in a DWP call center that with UC. They have said it’s such a mess and peoples money is getting delayed, is wrong or the claims are rejected. This is either down to the person completing the form incorrectly, lack of staff to process the claim or something else within DWP.
The family member left because they said getting abuse every single day isn’t worth it and that 80% of calls was just abuse, plus it were just a temp job.
The DWP contributed to as many deaths as Covid. Preventable deaths of disabled, sick, elderly people. The DWP abuses and harasses the most vulnerable and it is only getting worse with Universal Credits that pays hundreds less per month and forces you to get a month of debt to be paid. The DWP is hurting and killing people by design.
This hostile environment vulnerable people live in leaves trauma. The panic attacks and fear is real and common for anyone dependent on the DWP. The DWP assessments outright lie about the interview and try to ignore evidence from real doctors so they can say they feel you’re able to do things your condition stops.
The apathy towards all this is part of why I no longer respect the British public and resent my country. I had hoped the public would speak up for me especially once the DWP colluded with police to sanction disabled protesters. But instead the public cheers on for my torture and I spend every morning wondering if today is the day I get an envelope telling me my life will be systematically destroyed.
Driving people to suicide is pretty much their motto at this point. Its the only justification for the majority of their rules and policies
They should ignore him a great deal more; he sounds like an *absolute* pill!
Can somebody on here tell me what they think a person on long term disability benefits should be receiving including rent and council tax.
A) 200 a week
B) 300 a week
C) 400 a week
D) 500 a week
E) More than the above(please specify a maximum amount)
why would eugenics credit lift a finger to prevent their own goals?
they cant gas the disabled in camps, so provoking suicide through abuse and misery is how they function. illegal on a personal level, but the stage show of documentation and procedure is used to keep it going like a giant milgrim obedience experiment.
DWP staff are not mental health professionals.
The truth is people go to them because they want their money, DWP staff point them to people who can actually help and they get abuse/threats of violence. They when someone dies its their fault?
All they can do is what any other organisation would do. Advise the person calls 111, tell the Police and hope they don’t do it..
DWP doing exactly as its told to do once again by the looks of it. If they were not supposed to be so utterly vile, then they would not be known for that benig their main trait.
As someone who has been told to kill myself by the DWP, this sort of thing is not surprising in the least unfortunately.

I’m just gonna say it now I bet atos healthcare claimed the claimant was fit as a fiddle and probably killed themselves because they had no money.
Because that’s what they said about me not to mention the lies about questions I was never asked.
The “Dr” they sent to do my physical said I could stand up without support, I never got off my bed.
They said I could walk unaided for 20 meters again I never got of my bed.
I told them I had Agoraphobia, depression and more and they said I was fine and fit for work and this was for pip and my money was stopped so I’m glad I was getting DLA which ain’t affected by pip.
So fuck atos healthcare and any healthcare so called agency that run their physicals and go over the questionnaire.
