The song is about the hungarian minorities teared apart by trianon in the neighbouring countries of hungary. Kind of an anthem for fans of DAC dunajska streda football club, wich is a hungarian majority football club of the slovak first division. Also to some ethnic hungarian clubs of the romanian first division, but DAC fans started to sing it many years ago. In hungary this song is an equivalent of pointless nationalism by many. Over the border it has very different meanings, an anthem for many who feels left behind.
“but is it good?”
Can’t you decide it for yourself?
good is pretty relative. The meaning of the song is nice, the range of it is pretty good for shouting it in the street so i guess it fits the purpose however if you want to know where it fits in the hungarian music repertoire id say we have some better songs than this.
