If there is one thing we have learned over the years since Chevrolet first started offering the Right-Hand Drive C8 Corvettes in Japan is that Japanese car buyers love special editions. It seems every year we get a new limited-edition series slated for the Japanese market.
Today, we learned of a new special edition Corvette Stingray that’s limited to just 20 examples.
This latest limited-edition is called the America Anniversary Edition as these 2026 model-year Corvettes commemorate the 250th Anniversary of the founding of the United States.
To celebrate the “America 250” milestone, Chevrolet Japan will be offering just 20 of these limited-edition Corvettes at its Chevrolet dealers in the country. These Corvette Stingray Coupes are painted in Arctic White and feature a Black and Red full-length racing stripe, 20-spoke Bright Machined-Faced forged wheels and Edge Red brake calipers.
Inside the Corvette is an Adrenaline Red interior with the Stealth interior package. The America Anniversary package also adds special floor mats and door sills, and there is a special plaque on the passenger side of the cockpit just above the glove box. The plaque reads “1776-2026 / America Anniversary Edition.”
The special edition Coupes will also get a Red engine cover for the LT2 V8.
The Chevrolet Japanese website says the full-length dual racing stripes symbolizes America with Red being the passion for freedom while Black stands for unwavering strength.
Pricing for the 2026 Corvette Stingray is ¥19,850,000 which is equivalent to about $133,000 US Dollars.
