Marie from Rothwell needs to learn that just because something inconveniences you doesn’t make it wrong.
“I had to miss a doctors appointment. They should just get better jobs.”
Cheers Marie.
Bus driver’s, who are earning more than most of their customers asking for wage increases more than anyone in the country on low wages has been given.
It’s more than an inconvenience though. People rely on you to get to work to get to hospital. People who are hard up are already out of pocket.
The public could have put up with targeted strikes or ones with time limits but indefinite strikes two weeks in refusing pay offers left right and centre leading up to further rail strikes straight after.
The cost of living crisis is bad enough without the people choosing heating over eating having to fork out for taxis to get their kids to school or to go to work themselves. F that noise.
Not great for the people that rely on the buses, but the drivers in parts of Yorkshire are paid below the average for bus drivers, but then again the profit margins for rural buses must be pretty low.
Any transport company is facing massive increases due to fuels price rises
