Royal biographer Andrew Lownie appeared on the Megyn Kelly Show podcast on Wednesday, May 27, to discuss his book Entitled: The Rise and Fall of the House of York, and he dropped a few bombshells about Andrew Mountbatten Windsor‘s tumultuous relationship with certain family members.
According to the book, Prince William had deep-seated issues with his uncle, 66.

Lownie, 64, claimed Andrew didn’t believe Princess Kate was a suitable match for William, 43, because she wasn’t “posh enough.” The biographer added that “even as a child, William found him a bit of a creep,” pointing to a long-standing personal rift that has only intensified over concerns about the family’s reputation.

The host of the Megyn Kelly Show also asked Lownie about the current state of Harry and Meghan’s life in Montecito. He shared his read on the situation, noting that Harry “wants to build some bridges” with his family.
However, he painted a complicated picture for King Charles III, 77, who is reportedly eager to reconnect with Harry to spend time with his grandchildren. William, Lownie said, remains firmly opposed.
“Whatever he does, he’s going to upset one of them, and it’s a bit of a mess,” Lownie said on the podcast.
