  1. Putin’s back door for spying-on/undermining/manipulating the EU and NATO

Hungarians need to get rid of this guy before it’s too late for them

  2. > “words and actions that Brussels directs at us and the Poles are like those usually reserved for enemies. It is time Brussels understood that we were more than a match for even the communists. We are the sand in the gears of the machinery, the stick caught in the spokes, the thorn in the flesh. We are the David that Goliath would do well to avoid.”

I’m not sure daddy Viktor actually realized what he said at that point. I mean I’m sure it sounded really nice to EU haters all over the place, but his analogies make it look like the EU would be actually efficient and working well if it wasn’t for Hungary sabotaging it on purpose 😀

  3. Let’s workshop a name now so we don’t just end up with a lazy portmanteau like “Brexit”.

I think it should involve a reference to the Hungarian escape artist Harry Houdini. Brainstorm some ideas.

  4. Sand? More like some kind of dirt or sh*t. However, at least it’s partly true. You are the reason why Hungarians hate each other and doesn’t have real democracy or discussions in politics.

  5. There’s no protocol to throw out members and both Hungary and Poland take too much to leave on their own. Like Poland 70%of polish export is to EU another 20% to countries that EU negotiated deals. That 1/3 of Polish economy, people think about funds but forget how much we earn on being members of biggest tradeblock.

The communists who the moment Hungary stepped out of line, invaded it, installed a puppet government and turned it into the “Happiest Barracks” which Hungarians have adopted as proof the exceptionalism of their own brand of communism while getting ever closer to Russia?

If, anything, after those experience, the Nazis and the Habsburgs, Hungary seems to fall in love with any empire that oppresses it, and apparently hates anyone that tries to actually fix the country.
