Emergency services were called to the crash involving three vehicles about 6.25am.
“Two people are reported to have moderate injuries and one person is in a critical condition.
“The road is blocked and there are no diversions in place,” said a police spokesperson.
Motorists were advised to delay travel and expect delays.
Google Maps shows long queues have formed either side of the bridge crash site.
