I didnt need the music, but its so surreal for me, having made a trip to Warsaw myself pre-covid. Its a beautiful city, even if it lacks the old charm of Krakow. A nice fusion between the pre 20th century, Soviet era, and modern day Poland. And I remember this station so well as a central nexus of my travels. For it to be a place where these people take refuge is just heartbreaking. The solidarity that the Poles show with their Ukrainian neighbours is just so inspiring!

My girlfriend lives in Warsaw and she has been telling me about all of the amazing things the Plies have been doing for the Ukrainians. I asked why they are going so far out of their way to help with anything damn near giving their shirt off of their backs, she said we have been in their position and we understand how they feel. Regardless of how long ago the war was or the newer generations that never experienced hardship, everyone remembers and no one forgets the struggles of war. Poles are amazing people and I hope videos like this get seen because this is the good side of war, compassion for your fellow man.
P.S. I agree that the music is super corny and unnecessary.
