That’s so awful. I feel for them both. Most women know what it’s like themselves to be dismissed as having their issues ‘in their head’, so unfortunately not unheard of. I hope he gets what he deserves.

I have zero issues with this. I can’t imaging how bad it must be for his symptoms to get worse over months and to be repeatedly told there’s nothing wrong.

Whether you’re in a private a public health service, don’t be afraid of seeking out the second opinion if you really feel something is wrong. Doctors are just human, they can be wrong.
