MP Peter Bone reads out abusive email to him in Commons

  1. When you have ignorant selfish MP’S, you can’t expect any thing else.

People have died, People couldn’t see their loved ones during covid-19, People couldn’t pay their respect to their loved ones on their death bed, children are going hungry, people can’t afford heating, while our PM and His staff and friends were having a party at no 10.

These MP’S like Peter Bone are supposed to protect the people who have trusted them and appointed them to represent them at the Parliament.

The public have been let down.

  2. While I don’t condoned threats or violence against anyone, you have to think about who has been stirring these morons. Like it or not MPs have done their fair share of stoking culture wars when it works for them.

  3. > In 1995, Bone was described as Britain’s “meanest boss” by the Daily Mirror when he defended paying a 17-year-old trainee at Palm Travel (West) 87p an hour, equivalent to £1.78 in 2021.

  4. At what point can we point out that he may have received an abusive email, but his policy record has abused many, many more people.

He’s a complete charlatan, cited against gay marriage, vite against repealing blasphemy laws, voted for Brexit and he’s never, ever in his constituency. He’s locally reviled (not that it does much, the area still votes Tory anyway).

  5. I wouldn’t wish illness or death on anyone but I would use ‘colourful’ language to describe many politicians.

There is no requirement to be polite to the people that are stoking division in the country for their own poltical or financial gain.

  6. A quick read of his Wikipedia page and it seems he is the personification of everything people hate about politicians. He’s a liar, he’s self serving, he’s been caught fiddling his expenses, he’s very narrowly avoided criminal charges. Hardly a good spokesperson for the house.

  7. Shitty little part time Gollum impersonator should remember what his ‘glorious’ leader had to say about toxic language and culture in Westminster when it was raised in the house some months ago.

If you want to govern in the style this shower of shits does but sowing hate & division to sate the more extreme elements of your voter base then it’s a bit rich to moan about the consequences of that style.

  8. His party have sold out the country and acted against the best interests of the electorate for over a decade (and historically more). If he doesn’t like it he should get his party to do better.

  9. You can already get time in prison for swearing at an MP, what more does this whinging prick want?

  10. The best way to curtail abuse of MPs is for them to represent us better. Voter reform. MPs actually turning up to work and voting to improve British public’s lives rather than being greedy self serving thieves.

MPs should not get death threats but MPs are actually killing people for the last 12 years through DWP and Covid incompetence and likely due to the crushing economic crisis they’re trying to use as an opportunity to get richer at the expense of the public.

  11. > Today I met a police officer about death threats I’ve got for being a human rights lawyer.
    >
    > Today I read the PM’s words criticising lawyers representing asylum seekers.
    >
    > These things are not unrelated.
    >
    > This Government is undermining the rule of law, & putting us all at risk.

  12. From the man who argued it would be fine to illegally stuff 250 migrants on a plane just so that 50 of them might get deported……

I hope some kind of investigatory body or law enforcement finds something he did and manages to make it stick this time, so he can be hauled infront a bench of his peers.

  13. “We’re getting death threats from all the heinous things we do, including quashing the right to protest”

    Do we:

    A. Stop doing heinous things; partying while imprisoning the public, giving away all our money to your friends then refusing to help the public when prices rise in response to Brexit (their policy). Consider working for THE PEOPLE rather than for THE MONEY.

    or

    B. “do, something to stop this sick element in society” and “speak to parliament’s head of security”

Here come the water cannons again 🙁

  14. But it isn’t abuse when you genuinely are a cunt, it’s just a statement of fact. Is it still abuse when millions will testify that you’re not just a cunt, but in fact, a fucking cunt?… The defense rests m’lud.
