As the title says I (22M) really need help, my home university Erasmus department is very disorganized, and I only got confirmation a while ago. I’m going to study at UNYP, from the end of August to mid-December, now, my budget is not that high, about 400e (10 000czh) though I can stretch it a little, I really wanted DC rezidence, but it’s now fully booked even though they said they would contact me if they have a room (probably won’t I know).

Everything that I can find whether is obnoxiously expensive or fully booked or even with landlords that want only people who speak Czech (even found one that wanted a woman tenant that was alone in the city whose parents paid her bills = weird af) I ideally wanted a studio (impossible now I know) but now I just need a room with a private bathroom in a student residence or something similar, but that does not look like a horror movie set.

If y’all have any idea of something like that please, I’m kinda desperate, also I’m not dumb so don’t come here with those scams. I saw this add and thought it was a bit fishy, y’all think is real? [Apartment for rent, 1+KK – Studio, 15m2, in Prague, on Na zátorách street (expats.cz)](https://www.expats.cz/praguerealestate/for-rent/apartments/208383-1-plus-kk-studio-in-prague)

By the way, if any of you knows about a part-time job for the same dates for a man that speaks English (proficient), Spanish (fluent), and Portuguese (native) and has experience working remotely with customer support and even as an assistant and call center agent, I would love to.

No experience with this kind of accomodation but for 15 m2 it seems a bit expensive. Though the prices might have jumped recently due to the Ukraine war…

  2. Your only good bed is uni accommodation. They are usually around 200 eur. A reasonable amount of them is nice. Couple years ago I had my own room with shared kitchen and bathroom with one more dude. But those are in big demand. If you want to find something nice like this you need to apply before the fall, so that you don’t compete with new semester students which the universities will obviously give priority to.

Only other option I can think of is to get a room in a shared flat but from what I have heard those are currently pretty hard to come by. But less fancy ones should be in your price range.
