A new candidate for Pittsford town supervisor has officially launched his campaign.

Max Gordon kicked off his campaign at Lock 32 on Saturday.

He was joined by Rep. Joe Morelle and Monroe County Executive Adam Bello.

Gordon says his priorities are supporting the town’s economy and schools, while also providing transparency.

“I’m running because I care deeply about this community and the people who call Pittsford home,” Gordon said in a statement. “This campaign is about thoughtful leadership, bringing people together, and making sure Pittsford continues to be a place where families, small businesses, and neighborhoods can thrive. I’m excited to get to work and earn the support of this community.”

He will face current Town Supervisor Bill Smith, who has served in the role since 2014.
