  1. > Disruption is also expected to carry over into non-strike days during the week, when only about 60% of services are expected to run.

Worst part for me, at least planning around the strike days is easy.. but the other days? Fuck knows if you’ll just get stuck somewhere!

  2. Think network rail are greatly overestimating how many scabs they are gonna get working.
Sure some management grades who aren’t RMT members (as most management grades are in TSSA who are also being balloted better late than never) but they have nowhere near enough to man the signal boxes. Plus there will be no staff to respond to failures.

  3. I’m guessing buses will be extremely busy during strike days? At least I can get on at the first stop and have more of a chance of getting a seat.

  4. Good stuff.

    UK needs plenty of strikes.

Boomers will hate it, but they are going to vote against young people’s interests next election regardless so f*** em.

  5. I’ll just work from home those weeks and enjoy the early finish in the sun. A heartfelt thank you to all the drivers, because I’d never have got this past my boss without them!

  6. If only we all striked to cut fuel, electric and gas bills. We’d all be in a better position.

  7. Just remember we could have Japanese style strikes where the trains still run but the staff just refuse to take payment. But the conservatives made them illegal.

What? How are you supposed to travel by train when there are no trains?

Trains are too bloody expensive to use when they are running!
