I’ve lived in Sweden a while now, and after seeing this video I have some questions. The majority of people I interact with are very kind and helpful, but sometimes I run into a weird attitude. I don’t mean to diminish the poor kid in this video by comparing my experience. Nothing I’ve been through comes close, obviously. But every now and then people doing their jobs are really condescending, dismissive, and even nosy (asking all kinds of strange questions about my motive). I even think I’ve been lied to before because they thought that lying would just be the most expedient way of dealing with me. What’s all that shit about?
Haha, reminds me how if you call in to our police’s non-emergency number about a drunk driver Infront of you, you will be an annoyance rather than a concerned citizen worried about the safety of others.
Welcome to Sweden, you have now become a cog in the machine, criticisms and concerns from you as an individual does not matter when faced with the all powerful bureaucracy and the system.
But do not worry citizen, for the system kindly provides state approved alcoholic consumption, to dull the pain of closing your fist within your pocket.
