  1. Sure he’s a high level piano and violin player. Leave him off. What’s a bit of stalking and harassment?

  2. >Judge Greally set a headline sentence of 40 months, but gave Armstrong credit for…the numerous excellent character references speaking highly of his personal qualities

I will never, so long as I live, understand why character references get you less time in prison. Jonny No-Mates will literally sit in prison for a few extra months because he’s not a social butterfly?

And, I mean, if this piece of shit will subject an innocent woman to a campaign of horrible abuse then surely it just means all of the people giving character references were fooled, and the trial just proved that.

  3. Maybe I’m missing something but 8 months in jail for setting up defamatory Twitter pages and putting her number on fake DoneDeal ads is a bit excessive, no?

Don’t get me wrong, the guy sounds like an asshat but there’s violent criminals and serial burglars getting suspended sentences.

  4. The scariest part is the judge describing how family and friends perceived him. I’m sure that’s not the first rodeo of this cunt and he did this before to someone else. He’s a two-faced sick, degenerate human being. Everyone should watch out for him from now on. If he was a friend of mine I’d definitely never trust him. Just proves that you don’t really know people…

  5. “Judge Greally gave Armstrong credit for his his low risk of reoffending”. How was that determined? He’s clearly a psychopath who very likely pretended to show remorse.

“You harassed this woman for two years to try to cash in on the rent bubble before it implodes, you sound like an honest citizen! Great work, you get half the sentence off now and another half off while in prison”….
