No Jitter Brief:

Zoom debuted ZoomMate and its AI Productivity Suite on Monday. ZoomMate presents a single, AI-powered conversational interface so that employees can create a workflow to accomplish a task. Zoom’s AI Productivity Suite provides tools inside of Zoom for creating presentations, documents, spreadsheets, etc. AI Productivity Suite is included in a ZoomMate subscription or standalone.

ZoomMate allows users to connect to third-party data sources, such as ServiceNow, Salesforce, Workday, Google, Microsoft and other integrated enterprise systems, as well as the repository of information within Zoom Meetings, Phone and Chat. The agentic AI layer within ZoomMate can search, orchestrate and complete tasks across these systems to create repeatable workflows — e.g., scheduling events, updating records, knowledge articles, trouble tickets, drafting and sending email, etc.

The AI Productivity Suite includes Zoom Slides for presentations, Sheets for spreadsheets, Paper for documents and Zoom Canvas (formerly Zoom Docs) for a collaborative workspace. Content from in-person or video meetings, chat and email can be used to ground the documents. For example, Zoom Slides can generate presentations from meeting content or prompts.

No Jitter Insight:

During Zoom’s third quarter 2026 earnings call, Zoom Founder, President, CEO and Chairman Eric Yuan said that Zoom is evolving into an “AI-first system of action going beyond summarization.” ZoomMate and AI Productivity suite aim to deliver on that vision as they are billed as helping “teams move from conversations to completion by turning meeting context into actionable work, without forcing users to reconstruct information across disconnected tools,” said Russell Dicker, chief product officer at Zoom in the announcement.

UC&C vendors are moving from AI assistants to agentic AI-powered capabilities that can take limited, autonomous action on behalf of the user. By building integrations to systems of record, either through APIs or MCP, these vendors are also endeavoring to be the place where work begins and the hub for work.

“Many AI offerings operate on the edges of work, with limited access to the real-time context affecting decisions,” said Melody Brue, vice president and principal analyst at Moor Insights & Strategy in the announcement. “ZoomMate approaches this differently because it sits inside the conversations where those decisions unfold. This can give it live business context and help make its recommendations more grounded in the work that teams are actually doing.”
