K3 are a product first and foremost. I guess they didn’t wanna change a winning formula.
K3 is al altijd een meisjes groep geweest. En die formule werkt. Ze hebben het opengesteld voor iedereen, waarschijnlijk omdat dat moest, maar dat wil niet zeggen dat ze een jongen moeten kiezen alleen maar om divers te zijn.
Het moet in de eerste plaats goed combineren met de 2 huidige K3tjes.
We ALL knew that the winner was going to be a young, attractive, female. As someone on this sub has said a while back: You can fix the singing with pitch correction but no amount of make-up will “fix” a face that doesn’t sell on a lunchbox. The dads need to be able to enjoy the shows as well.
Insert the “Obama giving Obama a medal”-meme.

What bothers me is that the third girl, with the exception of the original K3, is always a Dutch. Not only is she always the one to leave, but as K3 is a Belgian ‘product’ it feels wrong.
I watched almost every episode. The four girls were just better options than the transgenders, non binary, colored people. They all got a fair chance, but didn’t had enough to win it.
The two last males were good performers, but one was halve a meter bigger, it looked like a quarterback + two cheerleaders around him and the other option was a good musical actor but a face that you coudn’t put on a lunchbox.
