For infections? What if you’ve just had a 13 hour shift and it’s 10pm and your next 13 hour shift is at 8am the next day? Oh and if you miss that shift you can’t afford food for the kids. How are you supposed to take that child to a GP with that schedule?
Being poor is a difficult and stressful existence. Suggesting it’s because people are stupid just reeks of privilege and your own obliviousness to the advantages you have.
Child deaths in Bradford, or any other low income areas for that matter, are not a priority issue for this government.
