Ireland ranked third-most peaceful country in the world

  1. Who votes on this ? The country can be peaceful if you avoid a lot of places and don’t look at the wrong people for too long. This is the same for every town across Ireland. I feel more at peace and less judged when I am in the US.

  2. I don’t know living in a few different European cities I’ve had bad encounters with irish youths and in England with scumbags

  3. Like most places jt highly depends on where you go. Where I grew up was anything but peaceful, bit I’m sure there are places more akin to the fucking shire down the country.

  4. This survey was obviously not conducted anywhere near a chipper late on a Saturday night!

  5. Yes this ranking didn’t capture the scenes from that film, *World War Z* where crowds of zombies climb over each other to get to the pub at the weekends.

Or is *I am legend* a better metaphor where he battens down the hatches and sleeps in the bath hugging a guard dog? hmmm

  6. Paying extortionate prices for absolutely everything is such a peaceful way of life, no stress there whatsoever.
