1. You can’t know. It’s one of the two solutions with only one “o” but “word” and “wordt” are pronounced exactly the same. You’ll have to guess.

    Nothing precedes the pronounciation? If it’s preceded by “Ik”, then it’s “word”. If it’s preceded by “hij/zij/…” then it’s “wordt”
