Hi, I was looking around for houses in norway and perhaps buying a new one or building my own. But I wanted to ask about the price and wht is included.
Here is a link as an example: [https://www.finn.no/eiendom/nybygg/prosjekt?finnkode=230413003&area\_from=100&price\_collective\_to=3500000&sort=PUBLISHED\_DESC&property\_type=1](https://www.finn.no/eiendom/nybygg/prosjekt?finnkode=230413003&area_from=100&price_collective_to=3500000&sort=PUBLISHED_DESC&property_type=1)
The ”totalpris” is it with the ”grund” or do I have to buy that seperately?
And is there anything else worth knowing like hidden costs etc of buying a house in Norway?
If anyone have expirience building their own house as well feel free to share how it went for you
Thank you very much in advance.

The land the house sits on is normally part of the total price. The biggest exception to this is if the plot is rented: https://snl.no/tomtefeste which means you’ll have to pay a yearly rent, which should be specified in the advert.
The ad you linked though is a bit special since it’s not in fact for a finished house, but just the shell, basically. Meaning you will have to do everything inside, yourself. Walls, floors, ceilings, inside doors etc etc. The total price if you want a finished house is specified to around 5 million further down in the advert.
So this is the price for a partially built house on a plot of land.
It is intended to be sold to DIY people that are handy and can finish it of themselves. (Read the fine print to see what is included in the price vs. what you need to do / buy yourself).
Or you can let them finish the house for you (aka “nøkkelferdig”), ready to move in, but then the cost is 5 million.
