East Coast Germany tour

  1. So that’s why so many U.S. Americans are so obsessed with the bombing of the city of Dresden, they believe it happened in their country.

  2. Cute.

I was just thinking this morning that some Germans don’t understand how big the US actually is…

The drive time of this imaginary trip, would be less than the last time I drove through Texas. But I could probably make it to all of Germany’s land borders in the same amount of time.

  3. Nice, but, now I wonder how much time a tour through all states would take(excluded Alaska and Hawaii).

  4. I was so so confused, seeing cologne and Berlin so close together. Then I realized that I was looking at a US map! 🤦‍♂️

  5. I drove to Columbus, Ohio from Seattle, Washington after living out there for about six months. To put that into perspective that’s like driving from Lisbon to Minsk about 3900km. It’s not too bad driving across the US except for the central plains. Iowa was horrendously boring and Montana is bigger than most countries.

  6. I wonder, if Cologne even has the name Cologne in real. It seems to be just a farm, situated in the middle of nowhere.

  7. What about Brunswick, NY, or Brunswick, ME, or Brunswick, OH, or Brunswick, GA, or Brunswick, NC?

  8. I understand Berlin and Hamburg but why would you name your citiy after the most boring german citiy of Hannover. On the other hand maybe it’s only boring today because all the interesting people emigrated to America at some point

  9. I try to hit euro named cities when im on motorcycle trips. I was in London (IL i think) a few weeks ago with a population of a few hundred.

I’ve been to (New) Belgium, Holland, Norway, German(town) and a few others as well.

  10. It looks like you won’t be too far from [Prost Inn]
(https://www.prostinn.com) in Aberdeen, MD. It’s a great spot for authentic food and beer! I suggest you take Route 1 for a scenic drive–it should be about 90 minutes from Hanover, PA. Your next stop in Hanover, MD will take about 45 minutes from Aberdeen if you hop on I-95.

  11. The fact that there are two Hamburg and neither one are on the cost or have access to the ocean, somewhat upsets me.

  12. We (my partner and I) went on a road trip in New England in 2017 and visited 3 Berlins – the one in New Hampshire, one in Vermont, and a very tiny one in New York (which I think you have marked on the map) …

  13. Hallo! Ich bin eine American von New Hampshire, und ich will sage ein Berlin ist im Nord New Hampshire.

(Ich hat Deutsche im Hoch Schule im 2010.. mine deutsche war nicht gut, ich weise..)
