Monument Health names new general counsel, VP of philanthropy effective June 8

RAPID CITY, S.D. (KOTA) – Monument Health has announced two additions to its Executive Leadership Team, effective June 8.

Paula McInerney-Hall has been promoted to General Counsel after serving as Associate General Counsel. A 24-year veteran of Monument Health, McInerney-Hall has played a key role in guiding the organization through complex legal matters and supporting its growth as a regional health care provider.

In her new role, she will serve as Monument Health’s chief legal advisor, overseeing corporate legal matters, regulatory compliance and governance while working with executive leaders to support the organization’s strategic goals.

Monument Health also named Ross McKie as Vice President of Philanthropy. McKie has served on Monument Health’s System Board and Rapid City Hospital Board since 2012, including leadership roles as board chair and vice chair. He also chaired the organization’s Corporate Responsibility Committee for nearly 10 years.

A University of South Dakota graduate and longtime Rapid City business leader, McKie recently retired before accepting the new position.

As Vice President of Philanthropy, McKie will lead the Monument Health Foundation’s fundraising efforts, including major gifts, annual giving, Children’s Miracle Network initiatives and the WeCare caregiver giving program.

Monument Health President and CEO Paulette Davidson said both leaders bring valuable experience and commitment to the organization.
