  1. Result is an absolutely disgusting stain on a country people kid themselves has freedom, IMO. Sack him by all means, he’s clearly not professionally suited to the job, but to criminalise him over this is pathetic.

  2. That’s pretty crazy. All the articles I’ve read were pretty serious crimes just got suspended sentences but this guy actually has to do time.

  3. Lucky to get only a few weeks, this is a lighter sentence than victimless crimes like burglaries and drug dealing gets. Racism like this oppresses 25% of the population of the UK

  4. Meh, seems a bit harsh. Also fuck em.

I’m sure there are better miscarriages of justice to be concerned with here.

Oddly, many of our new friends think this is the worst miscarriage of justice since the Birmingham six.

  5. And we call ourselves a free country

Im sorry but pedophiles skip jail but a guy sharing offensive shit gets time? The UK justice system is a joke

  6. I’m not sure how to feel about this. On one hand it seems like an overreach of justice and could have scary implications for our privacy. On the other it’s nice to see this shit stain do some time. Him being a police constable makes the ruling seem more reasonable to me; police should be held to a much higher standard.

  7. Guy is a racist prick. But prison for private WhatsApp message memes? We might have free healthcare but we don’t have freedom.
