A group of 10 Republican members of the US Congress have published a letter calling on leaders of the US lower house to “defend free market principles and protect the freedom to invest from increasing political interference in private markets”.
The letter, sent in March, urged House speaker Mike Johnson, majority leader Steve Scalise and majority whip Tom Emmer to “stand firm and continue governing in a way that preserves the free market and protects the freedom to invest”.
