Horrendous idea
I think we will find a lot of Argentines seeking asylum to the UK.
That’s a nice message to send to British soldiers killed or wounded in 1982 – that they had been fighting for a future cesspool for unwanted immigrants and a scarecrow to put them off.
How about just building oil rig-style platforms in the Channel for easy capture, processing and return to the continent/home countries?
Orkney Islands would be a lot easier.
