The Sandringham Estate has hit out at journalists, asking them not to approach neighbours of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.
Signs have cropped up outside properties in Wolferton in recent months stating members of the press will be reported to IPSO – the regulator for digital and print news – if they attempt to speak to residents.
It comes following various incidents which have seen journalists and photographers from global, national and local media outlets flock to Wood Farm and Marsh Farm in the village, where the disgraced former prince has been living.

The signs, attributed to the Sandringham Estate, read: “This is a private property and no comment will be made to journalists.
“Photographers are also not permitted onto these private grounds of the Sandringham Estate.
“Please respect this decision.

“Failure to comply will be reported to IPSO.”
While the houses themselves are private areas, roads are still classed as public ground, meaning photographers are legally permitted to take pictures of them, provided they stand in those areas.
The Sandringham Estate has declined to comment.
